If you want to make quick notes while using GMail,you can't open sticky notes since it will take a lot of time...I have a solution for that problem.....!!!!
Paste this URL in the box saying add a gadget by its URL
http://www.google.com/ig/modules/sticky.xml
After pasting Click on the the three dots (...) next to the chat symbol at your left side of your screen
